Teaching

Anna is a private horn teacher based in London and happy to travel or to teach from home. Her work in education and teaching since 2013 has been extensive, with organisations including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Goldsmiths University. As a horn teacher, she has worked with a variety of age groups – anywhere from 8 to upwards of 60. She teaches for Haringey Music Service, giving one-to-one lessons and helping as a tutor at Haringey Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra. She also runs the borough’s horn ensemble, Haringey Horns. Other teaching work has included teaching at King`s College London, via the Royal Academy of Music/KCL scheme and deputising both as a teacher in schools and for RCM Sparks (part of the RCM Junior Department).

As well as horn, Anna teaches music theory, trumpet and provides A-level tuition. She has tutored privately, as well as at Chelsea Quavers, an organisation that seeks to introduce children aged 5-10 to music theory and appreciation.

Anna’s current rate for new starters is £35/hr or £17.50 per half hour. If you are interested in learning from Anna, please use the contact form to get in touch for a chat and a consultation lesson.
